![]() | Olympus Zuiko Digital ED 35-100mm f/2.0 Pros: Excellent lens. Sharp, fast and very good build quality. Even though it is heavy, it's still well balanced with E3 and E5 if you use the battery pack. Produces very nice colors. A good lens for example in concerts with very silent Olympus E5. Cons: Heavy if you make long photo sessions. Expensive and focusing speed could be little bit better. With 1,4 x teleconverter full aperture is too smooth, so you have to use f 4,5 at least for sharp results. Little bit hard to find in second hand stores and like I said, expensive if you want a new one. Opinion: Definitely my best Zuiko lens along with Zuiko 50 mm f 2,0 macro and 50-200mm f 2,8/3,5. For me, this bright aperture and a little bit larger depth of field comparing full frame bodies works well example for sport photographing. Focusing speed and accuracy is not at the same level than Canon or Nikon. Mostly I use this lens in portraits and in these situations this lens works fine. sent on August 12, 2013 |
