![]() | Voigtlander (E, VM) 10mm f/5.6 Hyper-Wide-Heliar Pros: Small and light, excellent construction, pressure cap much better than the classic 15mm model. Crazy angle of field, very limited distortion, hyperfocal easily reachable and from reduced distances, clear and resistant to flare. Filters usable with a 150mm plate with the specific NISI holder Cons: obviously dark, but for landscapes I do not care, it will be a limit for astrophotography that in my case I do not. Other defects sincerely do not come to me Opinion: After a few months with the brother 15mm I wanted to be crazy, among other things, the Nisi holder is now also available to use 150mm plate filters. On the 15mm instead the screw filters are mounted. The construction is impeccable, aesthetically almost identical to the 15mm so as to confuse them if it were not for the "cap" different. I'm using it on Sony A9 and A7 with the same results, even at the edges I do not see a big decay. Nitidissimo, suffers vignetting but is also normal with a front lens so small and a high angle of field. The correction of the distortion in post-production with the appropriate profile is useless (except for vignetting), does not change almost nothing to demonstrate how much it is resistant to distortion. At the time I've never let it come into crisis against the light, faithful colors, flowing and pleasant ring even if I use it little by almost shooting in hyperfocal at f / 8. It has contacts for detecting the diaphragm in the car, convenient for exif. Surely it costs a lot, but there is another 10mm in the worldable to give all this;) sent on February 26, 2018 |
![]() | Sony A9 Pros: Handy, stunning AF, digital noise resistance, EVF sighter, alien burst, built-in quality, dual slot, infallible with native optics. A camera that opens a new era Cons: Price, menu upgradable, ergonomics to the top only with battery grip if you mount a canvas. Opinion: SONY A9 ITALY - FIRMWARE 1.01 - VOTE 9/10 - rnrnThanks to everyone, I'm not usually making reviews but this time I try to give you some impression while avoiding the hacking data or functionality that you already know (af points, 5-axis stabilizer, ..) I also do not use VIDEO or very little so I will only talk to photo department, let's go: rnrnPress that I always used Canon Reflex, the last was the 1dx with different optics L. Why switch to Mirrorless? I meditated for 1 year I'm not a professional but I shot a bit of every kind from sporting landscapes to photos with low light moving subjects so poor situation, with 1dx I've never had any problems except some lost misses for failure to hook up the system AF in low light conditions (theater essay). Lightweight, bulky, features not available on reflexes and more are things that made me think of ML but lacked a model that could satisfy all of my needs, then the A9 came and the step was made, sold all over. AttI really have the A9 with 24-70 f / 4 (so much criticized but it's fine, obviously not for landscapes), Voightlander 15mm and the Sony 70-200 f / 2.8 GM (a bomb!). 3 optics to cover all focuses, for now it's okay. We come to the car ... rnrnERGONOMIA - VOTO 7/10 without battery grip - 9/10 with battery grip Initially misplaced, I did not find the commands, I missed the menus and seemed to hold a toy over the 1dx beast. Beginning to get rid of the menu to understand the logic, the manual is to be used is not needed at all but fortunately online is available the guide where just write the function in the search to finally have a better explanation, not always clear but at least i understood 90% of the car in these weeks. Having a 1dx hand is something else, let's just say. It will be the weight or the ergonomics I do not know, but especially with a canvas mounted by other sensations, in fact I get the battery grip on the A9 and then the question changes, quite another thing. I use it almost exclusively with the 70-200 Sony, all the rest not toFavor lightness and reduced footprint. After the first difficult shots I took my hand, now fast trip in settings thanks to the 4 customizable keys (C1 - C2 - C3 - C4) but also many other keys that can be replaced by the function, really convenient. The new ring of fire and shutter modes is cool, I had the A7r II for two weeks and the absence of this ring was devastating to me accustomed to the Canon system. I snap a lot of landscapes, if I first go out with a minimum of 3kg + backpack now I can afford to turn with scarce 900gr and a shoulder bag, great. Ultimately the ML system will never be ergonomic as REFLEX but it is a different philosophy, maybe it's also a matter of habit. As long as REFLEX exists this will be better if then one day will no longer exist then the vote will be 10/10. I would like to point out the existence of an accessory that is a half-way compared to the classic battery grip, you can not insert batteries in practice stretches the handle gWhere it ends our little, light and easy to have: GP-X1EM. As for the construction I would say great, high quality materials and a feeling of strength in the hands. Excellent ignition speed, not at 1dx level, let's say it's running in a couple of seconds. RnrnMIRINO EVF - VOTE 9/10 rnThe EVF viewfinder I really like it, in some situations it is even better the optician, but doing the tare in my opinion is superior to the advantages not the disadvantages, such as seeing a snapshot in full daylight Beach in the viewfinder has no price;) from the monitor you would not see almost nothing. As far as I'm concerned today, I would not go back to the optic. Bright, crazy, fluid detail seems to see a high resolution video, never a slowdown, brightness adjustable automatically on the basis of outdoor light. Customizable display information. Rnrn AF SYSTEM - VOTE 10/10 rnSeply PAZZESCO and one says it comes from a 1DX. Fast, precise, it does not blame a shot unless it's your fault. Follow a subject (fliesTile, eg) on ??the whole frame is something incredible, I photographed animals and children running toward me using extreme side points where reflexes usually suffer, no problem, on 100 photo 95 in focus. Not to mention the burst ... well do not overdo it because with 20 frames per second the SD cards filled it up right away. The fire is also hooked well in the dark, beautiful semi-manual mode where the subject is automatically focused and then with the lens ring it is possible to adjust the focus accurately with automatic zoom on the subject, another grain. Compared to the 1dx we know a more accurate tracking with immediate maf calculations, as well as covering almost the entire frame, for the rest not known differences. I use two 64gb SD cards of 150mb / sec (slot 2) and one 300mb / sec (slot 1) writing speeds only 2/3 times I tried to shoot unsuccessfully because it was writing, 2 seconds after I was running. RnrnSENSOR - VOTE 9/10 rnDo you can not have 50 megapixels with a burst of 20 frames per secondEcondo, 1dx II and Nikon D5 teach. Who purchases this machine must know what it buys, even if it is said that for landscapes it is not adequate I believe instead it is rather I do with 1dx figuriamoci. What is surprising about the sensor / shutter is the lack of "dark" between one click and the other we have to get used to it because the electronic shutter initially dissipates! It does not seem to be taking off I've activated the "sound" otherwise I do not understand how many photos I'm doing, even the fact that I do not undergo the black-out of the mirror requires habit but it's a revolution to be tried. Very good dynamic range but I was used to bad;) Very workable files, noise? Here I believe it is the absolute TOP market, snap to 12,800 iso is not a problem, where I first stopped at 6400. I never go over by choice, but really the digital noise management is impressive. RnrnBATTERY - VOTE 10/10 rnNo 1, but 2 steps forward. With battery grip (two batteries) I shot 1300 photos with charge, over double dWhat he did to make the A7r II. Considering that MLs make extensive use of electronics and monitors I would say the result is great, and the batteries are not as huge as the 1DX. Solved battery-mirrored problem and you can also load it directly via USB directly on-camera! (For example, in a car or with an external bank) UPGRADES - VOTE 10/10 rnThis feature did not know it, with Sony optics attached to the body machine you can update the firmware, woow! And I was used to the Sigma usb dock ... here too is a new era, congratulations. RnrnCONNESSIONS - VOTE 9/10 There is everything I need, even the LAN port but I do not think I will use it. Wifi comfortably, even here coming from 1dx makes me very comfortable. RnrnPREZZO - VOTE 8/10 rn For what it offers, it can not cost me less in my opinion, and still travels over 1000 euros less than the top reflexes. I took the ITALIA guarantee from ITALIANO shop at 4500 € in promo. Rnrn FINAL CONCLUSIONS rnThis is a system that makes 100% only with native e-mou opticsSo do not miss any adapter adapters even the Metabones have acceptable performance with the canvases. I could say a lot more but the juice is this, you have to try it to understand the potentials that are really many .... after 1 month of use and 3,000 shots I would not go back, the advantages are far superior to the disadvantages. I took home beautiful photos of holidays and I never got the feeling of being castrated in some situation, I never thought "I guess I had the 1dx now ..." and I think the long saying. It is a machine that can do anything, it does not excel in resolution so who has this need to think about the A7r II or the future A7r III (?). Some software improvements we can expect, an even more intuitive menu, for example, though improved, greater compatibility with SD cards, I would also like to be able to use some comfortable APPs integrated as on A7R II but here I believe it is a commercial choice. Another thing I would find helpful is the ability to view the histogramTogether with the level at the moment you can use one or the other but not together, etc. ... we are at the ver. 1.01 we will see ... rnSalute sent on August 21, 2017 |
![]() | Sony FE 24-70mm f/4 ZA OSS Vario Tessar T* Pros: Sharpness, color, fast af, light and compact, beautiful bokeh at 70mm - f / 4 from the minimum distance of maf, fluid ring Cons: For now nobody Opinion: I think there are too many discordant opinions, I wonder if there are huge differences between one model and another, a bit like Sigma optics. I was skeptical in the purchase just because of negative reviews, but I wonder: this lens used it for landscapes ?? But what does the edge sharpness mean for example? I use it as a handy birthday party, generic shots etc ... for specific uses I have other super-wide loupe lenses. I've been jumping to babies lately and I was even surprised by the bokeh that a f / 4 should not be the best but it does very well, and the clarity is not lacking. I also had Tamron 24-70 2.8 Vc, Sigma 24-105 Art and Canon 24-70 f / 4 so i have lenses to compare. It is well-built, lightweight and at the time indispensable being 1 native E mount lens that keeps eye af etc ... sent on August 04, 2017 |
