Nikon D3300 Pros: Excellent value for money, excellent photographic performance as long as the sun is out, light, indestructible, entry level very complete at least at the photographic level for the price. Cons: ISO holding, video certainly not satisfactory but it is not made for this, AF very unreliable if the subject is moving. Opinion: My first real camera, taken for photography, and in my opinion if you want to get into the world of Nikon photography starting with this is a great choice. You can find it at a ridiculously low price for the photographic quality it offers, and it is in my opinion perfect for learning the basics of photography without all the automatisms that high or even mid-range mirrorless cameras offer. It's not made for video, which is why I'll eventually change it for a mirrorless, considering my shift towards videomaking, and it's certainly not made for sports photography or night photography. The autofocus is dated and it's more convenient to shoot manually unless you're doing wildlife photography, and the ISO performance is, predictably, out of step with the times. I would still recommend it to anyone who wants to start doing photography, but don't count on being able to consistently produce professional quality photos unless you can combine it with excellent lenses. sent on 28 Marzo 2026 |
