Amavo la fotografia già da bambina. Attratta dalle foto antiche di famiglia, mi affascinavano quei vestiti di altri tempi e quelle pose così studiate e sognanti.
Ho iniziato a scattare con una Zenit negli anni '80 e a sviluppare e stampare, sempre negli stessi anni, in camera oscura in bianco e nero. Ho ripreso, dopo qualche anno di pausa, nel 2009 con una Nikon, passando dall'analogico al digitale ed occupandomi prevalentemente di fotogiornalismo. Dal 2013, con Canon apsc mi sono dedicata a quella che è una delle mie più grandi passioni, la fotografia naturalistica, dedicando molto tempo alla macrofotografia, all'avifauna e non disdegnando la paesaggistica e la fotografia da strada.
