Sony A68 Pros: Sensor quality, good grip, good bionz x processor inserted in modern Sony mirrorless, good malleable raw, nice compact and fairly performing, nice Sony colors if set correctly, electronic viewfinder and focus even in total darkness Cons: It is not tropicalized, absence of bg, discreet gust. Maybe the autonomy like all the slts Nothing else as far as I'm concerned maybe the slightly smaller viewfinder than other cameras I've tried Opinion: This Sony a68 represents a very clear intent on the part of Sony, that is to produce a slt with entry level materials but with pro features, Sony sensor with bionz x cpu very powerful for the time and churns out crazy jpegs, too bad only for the modest burst and the viewfinder smaller than average, otherwise nothing to add, A stunning SLT that focuses on versatility and quality over pure speed sent on 22 Febbraio 2026 |

Sony SLT-A77 Pros: Sensor quality at low iso, tropicalization, both standard and non-standard burst, many options, good hdr and dro that churns out nice jpegs, good oled viewfinder and fully articulated screen, good grip both with and without bg Cons: Autonomy, honestly the thing I regret most is the buffer of the raw and jpeg but by further lowering the quality of the file you can make bursts of 36 jpegs safely which is a relative problem, as said by others I found only a small bug in the firmware but fixed later Opinion: For me the Sony a77 is a wonderful slt that represents the top of the apsc format between modern reflex and mirrorless technology, the pleasant grip, the viewfinder and display make it a high-performance camera that at the time of its release was defined futuristic and today practically "normal", too bad only for the buffer a bit disappointing but I understand that processing 24megapixel files requires a nice powerful processor that at the time only flagships had, with the right Zeiss and Sony G lenses it churns out beautiful photos, highly recommended for me sent on 19 Febbraio 2026 |

Pentax K-5 Pros: Sensor quality, tropicalization, ergonomics, high iso sealing Cons: None for me, maybe af in low light Opinion: Since January 2025 I have sold my used k7 for exactly 12 years and after having squeezed it properly I needed an upgrade that I considered sensible for my photographic style since the only defect of the k7 was the tightness at high iso the eye fell on the k5 of course, from January to today I am practically having fun with it and I have already taken like 3 thousand photos, The photos I put speak for themselves I don't think anything else is needed, the Pentax K5 in my opinion still has its reason today, maybe with good lenses it still offers a more than decent quality, and if you know how to squeeze it properly you will get great satisfaction, absolutely recommended sent on 22 Settembre 2025 |
