Really sturdy despite the plastic: taken on trips to Greece, Finland and Croatia it has never disappointed me for two main reasons: 1-with a 16Gb SD card, you can take more than a thousand photos in RAW(NEF) which are light and editable in post. 2-the battery lasts a very long time and is easily available: I got to take 750 photos before arriving at almost empty battery. The only two cons are: 1-being a ccd sensor, it suffers at high iso, so to solve the problem I recommend bright lenses if you want to photograph in the evening / night or in situations of fast shutter speeds. 2-The camera menu is a bit confusing at first, but after reading the manual or with some tutorials on youtube you can decipher it.
