![]() | Fujifilm X-T5 Pros: Modern equipment, jpg vouchers and attractive aesthetics Cons: Too pushed and plasticky compared to the old Fuji Opinion: Purchased as a replacement for an XH1, I was fooled by the higher resolution and the many options available. The autofocus is fast and the filters in the camera are very good, however in my opinion the sensor is too pushed for the Aps-c format and at high iso it really suffers. Honestly, I found the old XH1 more balanced and harmonious. The thing I liked the least are the finishes, the silver version after two months has stripped both on the base and around the eyelets of the shoulder strap. I think that the ostentation of vintage is taking a little too much of the hand of the manufacturers and 2100 euros for a car that immediately strips itself is excessive. Unfortunately, I didn't fall in love with it. sent on February 24, 2025 |
![]() | Leica Q2 Pros: Colour rendering, three-dimensionality and brightness of the lens. Cons: Uncertain autofocus in low light Opinion: I state that I am a not too advanced amateur, a lover of travel and street photos. After the magnificent experiences with Pentax K1 equipped with 43mm f1.9 I wanted to try more modern cameras with more "playful" and smart features. I had Fuji XH1 and Fuji Xt5. On the first I appreciated the general balance and build quality, in the second I discovered many convenient functions and various modes of use, but I found some finishes "unworthy" for a 2000 euro camera, and I had the feeling of a sensor too pushed for APS, so I decided to go back to full format. The choice fell on a used Q2 socket at a reasonable price. The construction is first class, the charm is the much vaunted and above all the images are dazzling. The somewhat uncertain autofocus with low light and a decidedly "traditional" general equipment compared to the Japanese competitors pass into the last position once you see the photos that come out of this jewel. The depth is incredible as well as the three-dimensionality, the Jpeg is definitely better than any other file I have tried before and each photo has a real personality. I can finally do without filters, the double slot and the many latest generation frills. Thanks to the magic of Leica, I have returned the desire to photograph. sent on February 24, 2025 |
