Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-40mm f/2.8 PRO Pros: Well built, quite compact, bright and versatile, cost of Cons: Nothing Opinion: I use it on the second Olympus body at music concerts strictly at f2.8 (the light is never very much) for total shots of the stage, the orchestra, the audience etc always in RAW. Beautiful colors, sharpness, fast autofocus. I can no longer do without it. Paired with the second body with the 40-150 f2.8 it is an ideal combination for events sent on 18 Gennaio 2026 |

Olympus M.Zuiko ED 17mm f/1.2 Pro Pros: All Cons: Nothing Opinion: Taken to photograph classical music concerts in low-light contexts (electronic music especially) but also to keep the iso low in concert halls (total orchestras) but I use it in all situations of low light (landscapes, streets, portraits, events. Super construction, razor-sharp even at full aperture. It is constantly on the second body also because at the time of analog I only shot with a compact Minox 35 GT f2.8 (back to the past) sent on 27 Dicembre 2025 |

Olympus Zuiko Digital ED 50-200mm f/2.8-3.5 SWD Pros: Very robust, sharp, tropicalized Cons: For how much it cost me nothing Opinion: Taken second-hand in perfect condition with the adapter for micro 4/3 included for 315 euros. It's a bit heavy and has a monstrous lens hood but it grips very well and the dials are smooth at the right point. I use it in the mountains on my two Olympus when I don't want to risk damage to the more expensive 40-150 f2.8 with which it holds up well in terms of sharpness, general image quality with 100 mm more which are not few. Only the autofocus sometimes hesitates but nothing tragic. MFT owners, if you find one, buy one. sent on 17 Dicembre 2025 |

Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 8mm f/1.8 Fisheye Pro Pros: Lightweight, compact, bright, tropicalized Cons: Nothing Opinion: I asked a friend to lend it to me because I wanted to try it during a classical music concert (trio) in church, in small spaces. In this church, with my usual endowment, I have always had difficulties in totals where the public was always present. The result went beyond my expectations. I managed to stand a couple of meters in front of the musicians, crouched down and took photos that were much appreciated by those who commissioned them for the fact that in addition to the trio also the context was very visible. I shot (at f1.8) using the level and I cropped slightly to remove some disturbing elements (feet of spectators). The photos were sharp from top to bottom with excellent colors. sent on 04 Giugno 2025 |
