![]() | Nikon AF-S DX 55-200mm f/4-5.6 G VR Pros: Price, good at 55mm Cons: Pretty much everything Opinion: Really disappointed, piece of plastic that generates grainy photos. No sharpness except at 55mm, manual focus let's forget about it... Very good at the minimum focal length, but at this point I could opt for a fixed lens. The portraits come out quite well, for the rest they are wasted money... At the price at which it can be found it is already too much. Maybe I was unlucky, maybe I have a defective one, but I will have taken a good photo of it within a year sent on February 06, 2025 |
![]() | Tamron SP 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Di VC USD G2 Pros: All Cons: It loses some sharpness at longer lengths (550-600mm); cost (but worth every penny) Opinion: What can I say, I'm having a lot of fun with this lens, comfortable to use once you get used to it. Practically no flares, excellent color rendering, exceptional stabilization, excellent minimum distance (2.2m). Unfortunately it loses a bit of sharpness at higher focal lengths but it is an excellent compromise between quality and price. I use it a lot for landscape and I don't regret it sent on February 01, 2025 |
![]() | Tamron SP 17-50mm f/2.8 XR Di II LD Pros: Almost everything Cons: Thick dust enters, flare at night, coma (if used to photograph stars), lens hood attachment tends to loosen Opinion: First lens I owned. Great travel companion. Very good daytime photos and portraits, which may not even need post-production. Excellent color rendering. Sharp. For landscape, street and portraiture it is very good. I have also used it to photograph stars but I recommend using it at f4 to limit distortion. What can I say... If you are a beginner and are looking for a cheap and good goal, this is for you sent on September 05, 2024 |
