Interests: Escursionismo in montagna, speleologia, natura, geologia, laghi, mare. Adoro i posti nascosti e ricchi di rocce e acqua: cascate, torrenti, forre, grotte. E i bei panorami.

La mia prima macchina fotografica è stata una Olympus OM-10 (1984), che mi ha insegnato moltissimo; sono seguite svariate macchinette analogiche e digitali. A gennaio 2023 ho finalmente deciso di vincere la mia avarizia e prendere una Sony a6000. Uso Darktable per la post produzione, Hugin per le foto panoramiche, OS GNU/Linux Mint.
Oltre a un decoroso obiettivo Sony 18-105 mm F4 G OSS con cui mi trovo benissimo, mi piace usare anche alcuni obiettivi Helios (44-2, 44m, 44m-4 con lente posteriore invertita, 44m-6 con lente anteriore invertita, 44m-7), un Meike 35mm f/1.4, un 7artisans 12mm f/2.8, il vecchio Zuiko 50mm f/1.8 della mia OM-10 e uno zoom OM Zuiko 200mm f/4. Tutti rigorosamente manuali! Per le foto di grotta ho usato uno Xiaomi Mi 10T lite con GCam 8.4 fino a che non l'ho rotto, e ora uno Xiaomi Redmi 13 Pro.

Sono un appassionato geologo, speleologo ed escursionista.
