![]() | Canon PowerShot A400 Pros: Very old, almost vintage! But he takes photos that still look great on the web. Cons: If you want to take out a poster, leave it alone. Opinion: For those who want a visual notepad, this camera, like a Fuji WP (even sub up to three meters) or other very old compacts, still has its raison d'être. No poster-sized prints, but small memories up to 13x18 will be indistinguishable (a "or almost" is a must) from the mirrorless FF, try it to believe it. Keeping a contraption like this or a similar one in your pocket doesn't break through the linings, but it gives you a sense of tranquility and freedom from the smartphone that you wouldn't believe it. Try again to believe it! sent on May 23, 2024 |
![]() | Pentax K-70 Pros: All the pros of Pentax ( stabilization, K mount lenses, color rendering, bw almost from analog, robustness, simplicity, ergonomics, tropicalization, green button ) Cons: Lack of GPS for the Astrotracer really a shame. Opinion: Bought used very recently with 82 shots so new. Why a car that came out more than seven years ago? Because it has everything you need plus something that I didn't have on the K30, because I found a menu that I already know very well, because fashions make a fool of me, because I already have a small Fuji to do the street, because I don't like to give money to Marketing, because my purpose is to hope to take some good photos even if I can't use the thousand thousand ISO (which then anyway you can see and until a few years ago, we could do it with 400 ASAs. And we lived the same. ) and because obviously I have a good fleet of optics even manual ones that will be fine even with the 24 mpx (beyond that it will never be worth it and in any case I will never print billboards), because I also change the cars about every eight years and finally because I like it. The first photos are of excellent quality, very engraved, clean, faithful in colors, the old optics have not lost anything with the increase of pixels, maybe over time I will find in some shots a bit of chromatic aberration, a thread of vignetting, a fluff to clean in post. I know of people who have changed reflex equipment to have less weight and size and in the end find themselves with a one-kilo mirrorless to which to add optics (perhaps with an extra adapter) and a lot less money, at least there they travel lighter. I'm not old anymore. I want to photograph without making myself feel like it on the kit and if I take a look at Youtube it's all about magnifying the latest mirrorless release and then maybe the same people praise the vintage look that they manage to remake! But then buy an old 5 mpx digital with ccd or an analog one! sent on May 16, 2024 |
