![]() | Fujifilm XF 150-600mm f/5.6-8 R LM OIS WR Pros: Price, weight, internal movement, fast and quiet AF, works with extended, good sharpness (for focal length) Cons: Bezel a bit hard after 400mm, few selector switches, usable only during the day Opinion: Excellent lens, with a surprising weight and size to be internal movement, tropicalized, stabilized. The L-shaped bracket already arcaswiss is convenient. Very fast, responsive and above all silent AF (tested with X-H2). I found colors and sharpness pleasant, the contrast is missing but it is corrected in post, it is not very engraved but it is easy to recover with Topaz AI (especially on birds where the improvement on plumage is resounding) the weight is very good for the type of lens (but being only for asp it is simpler). The very small diaphragm is the big limitation of this lens, if the light conditions are not optimal it forces you to go up a lot with the iso and working on APSC sensors the noise is more evident. The good thing is that the stabilizer is very efficient, so if the subject is stationary, you can stay lower with use and shoot slower without too much risk of blur. we have talked about it in more depth on our YouTube channel Theitalianmaker if you have the pleasure of learning more about this focal length. sent on March 29, 2024 |
