Pros: Image quality, 2.8, fast autofocus, lightweight, compact, internal zoom, possibility to mount screw filters, it is found at a good price.

Cons: Sharpness at the edges with big megapixels (better to close a little), flare resistance not so optimal, focus ring

Opinion: My first wide-angle lens on fullframe mirrorless. I find it pleasantly usable thanks to its compactness and lightness, they make you always carry it with you. The autofocus is very performing and the image quality is excellent, even if it loses slightly at the edges but closing the aperture solves this problem quite a bit. I've used it on Sony A7III and A7rIII, with 24mpx it's an exceptional lens, even if on some occasions 17mm have been a bit tight for me, but that's another story. On the 42mpx of the rIII, at the edges, you begin to see the limits of the optics. The materials, even if we are talking about plastic, are of excellent quality, it gives the idea of a well-built lens. I also really like the front cap, much better than the Sigma and Sony. The focus ring doesn't excite me, I find it too smooth. All in all, it is a lens that I recommend, small and performing, at the right price.

Pros: Very good file quality, acceptable ISO sealing, battery life, lightweight, economical, well-built, easy to use.

Cons: No autofocus calibration, non-tropicalized, entry level autofocus, dust infiltration in the viewfinder.

Opinion: My first camera ever, bought new way back in 2016, love at first sight. She was the one who made me passionate about this beautiful world that is photography. I immediately found it easy to use, comfortable and light. The battery has good battery life, but it's best to have a spare one for more intense rides. I've owned it for almost 8 years and the body doesn't even have a scratch, it's really sturdy and well made. The ergonomics are great and the handle has a very good grip. The menu is simple and intuitive. Although I used it as a complete beginner at the beginning, with the kit 18-55 lens, it has given me great satisfaction, it can return excellent and well workable files. When combined with high-performance lenses, you can have fun for very little money. The sealing at medium-high ISO is contextually good, but without exaggerating. Personally, I've never gone beyond 1600. Being an old entry level you should not expect the top as far as autofocus speed is concerned, it also has few focus points but all in all it is more than usable. An annoying aesthetic problem that I found, after not even two years of use, is that dust has infiltrated the viewfinder, even if it does not ruin the photos, even though I have always kept it clean and used with care. In summary, perfect for starting to photograph with a quality reflex, better if associated with good lenses. Until it stops shooting I'll hold it carefully.
