![]() | Pentax DA HD 55-300mm f/4.5-6.3 ED PLM WR Pros: Compact, lightweight, minimum focus at 95cm, focusing speed, sharpness. Cost Cons: 300 mm brightness only Opinion: The first Pentax lens purchased for the K70. Absolutely a surprise, for that price I expected a sharpness and a yield worthy of a glass and instead it is a great lens. Compact and lightweight, once taken manual skills with the commissioning button, even fast. Excellent color rendering, excellent sharpness, lightning-fast focus. Too bad that f: 6.3 on the maximum focal length, however, even at full aperture behaves very well, even better at f: 8 and you can use it well even freehand because light and balanced. It produces a very pleasant blur great for portraits. If I had to summarize I would say that it is a very versatile lens "a jack of all trades" as the Anglo-Saxons would say. In my humble opinion a great lens at a great price. Even the hood is properly made. Welcome these optics that can give a lot of satisfaction even to those who can not afford to spend dollars. sent on April 28, 2023 |
