![]() | Sigma 85mm f/1.4 DG DN Art Pros: Blurry, weight, colors, rendering, everything Cons: Lens hood (but also not) Opinion: I bought the Sigma 85 DG DN in January 2025, the more I use it, the more I fall in love with this focal length and this lens. Create phenomenal photos from F2 and up (F2.8 or F4 are excellent). It doesn't weigh much, the only flaw is a bit of the lens hood but really also not because it's not super bulky. It also seems to me that it does not solve very well the 61 megapixels of my A7RV at full aperture, towards F1.8 it becomes ok and from F2 it is perfect both as a blur and as a sharpness in my opinion. I really can't help but recommend it. sent on June 10, 2025 |
![]() | Tamron 35-150mm f/2-2.8 Di III VXD Pros: Focal range, aperture, autofocus, all-in-one lens Cons: At first it weighs a bit, in two weeks you get used to it Opinion: I bought the Tamron 35-150 in March 2024 and what can I say, it's a versatile lens like never before, you can switch from a wide angle to a narrow angle and take a lot of different photos without losing the brightness of the environment given its excellent aperture. It's also great for portraits (obviously it's not at the level of a fixed lens). Every time I use the Tamron I am amazed, it takes frighteningly beautiful photos, obviously you also have to couple it with a medium/high-end camera to make the most of all its potential. sent on April 17, 2025 |
