Opinion: Very first impressions Recently purchased. Used in two outputs. Mainly used at f1.4 wide aperture: it has excellent sharpness and a fabulous blur. The autofocus is lightning fast and very quiet, in line with Canon's other VCM hybrid lenses. It's not stabilized but it's not a problem: I use it with Canon R5 and I don't feel the need for the stabilizer.
