Tamron 50-400mm f/4.5-6.3 Di III VC VXD Pros: Autofocus: Silent, fast and accurate. Fantastic Range. Close up capabilities. Build quality. Very good IQ. Cons: The tripod collar isn’t included. Opinion: I’m also using the Tamron 50–400 on the Z5II (I had it on my Z6II before) and I’m really happy with it. Even after long handheld sessions it doesn’t feel tiring at all, the autofocus is fast and silent, the macro feature (1:2 at 50–70mm and 1:4 at 400mm) is a big plus, and the zoom range is fantastic. The image stabilization isn’t quite as good as on a Nikon Z lens, but it still does the job. One negative is that the tripod collar isn’t included and needs to be bought separately.
