![]() | Nikon Z6 II Pros: Viewfinder,Display,Burst,Video Quality,High ISO,24 mpx,File Yield Cons: Autofocus, tracking not like the competition, not suitable for sports but maybe it's a problem with F lenses (I don't have S lenses), monitor only in TILT Opinion: Always owner of Nikon Reflex series D300s, D600, D3, D4s I convinced myself to switch to the Z series with the Z6II as driven by the desire to make video and the mirrorles novelty with the two processors and the burst of 14 fps for a bit of sport. But unfortunately it never really convinced me. I start from the CONS: In my opinion it is not a mirrorles for sport, tracking works little and often loses the subject between one shot and another during the burst, even if you remove the tracking automation and put a point for the fire does not excite me! Tested with Nikon 70/200 f2.8 VR I and Nikon 24/70 f2.8(the latter works better).. During a series of shots with subject on horseback trotting on 20 photos I found only a few in focus, DISAPPOINTING! People tracking is very far from the competition, the one for animals only works with dogs and cats! The autofocus has never convinced me, often inaccurate and wandering but maybe it's a problem with the F lenses .... The PROS: excellent viewfinder and color fidelity, bright display even under the sun and well defined, nikon historical ergonomics, very useful superior display, excellent video quality even if the autofocus wanders and you have to take your hand, excellent burst, files workable even at high iso, excellent file rendering on landscapes .. Ultimately in my opinion if you want to do sport I do not recommend, the competitors are more 'performing! sent on June 23, 2022 |
