Yongnuo YN 35mm f/2 Pros: Price, mounts on full frame, bokeh, macro Cons: Chromatic aberration, slight backfocus, somewhat slow focus, sharpness at TA edges Opinion: I bought this lens as my first prime lens because it was cheap, but I must say that years later I'm still enjoying it! For what is the cost I must say that it is an excellent amateur lens, and an excellent first lens to buy, also because at that cost you can not find anything even used ... Moving on to the characteristics it is not a very precise lens, mine in particular (I do not know if it is a problem of all the specimens) has a slight backfocus, which can still be corrected by the camera body. Once corrected you have a decent sharpness in the center even at TA, but this is lost once you look at the edges of the image. The focus is a bit slow, since the lens is not equipped with an ultrasonic sensor, but it is still very manageable even if the subject moves slowly. All in all, I consider it a pretty good lens, especially considering the price sent on July 05, 2022 |
