![]() | Venus Laowa 12mm f/2.8 Zero-D Pros: lack of distortion, satisfactory optical rendering, superb mechanical construction. Cons: manual focus, price. Opinion: I've been buying this lens for months and I use it mainly for 360 ° panoramic and virtual tours. First I used the 15 mm fisheye of the Sigma or the nikon 14-24 but the results were modest due to the poor quality of the fisheye and the deformations that produced the Nikon. I did comparative tests with the Nikon set to 14 and I have to say that this is superior to Laowa with regard to the engraving and the brilliance of the images. The Laowa has a hot dominant unlike the nikon that is cold. If I were to use a landscaping goal, for a generic purpose or for a trip I would recommend zooming Nikon for its versatility and quality. I repeat instead that the 12 has solved my problems for the specific use for which I have purchased it and I usually limit it to this use. sent on November 10, 2017 |
