![]() | Tokina ATX-I 11-20mm f/2.8 CF Plus Pros: Sharpness, brightness, colors, stability Cons: Noisy and slow autofocus, manual focus system, weight, price Opinion: I bought the 11-20 for my Nikon D7500, until now I had used fairly "basic" or telephoto lenses. Its maximum yield - thanks also to the brightness it has - has it in conditions of poor light (sunsets, twilight, night, dawn ...). At maximum aperture it suffers a bit of "barrel" distortion but already at F3.2 the situation improves considerably and in any case even at F2.8 it is never invasive. The sharpness and colors are absolutely high level and reflect the expectations (generated by the price not really cheap, they exceed 500 euros). Among the cons certainly the weight, the manual focus system (it is not intuitive, nor fluid in use), the autofocus (often slow and definitely noisy), price. sent on December 15, 2021 |
