![]() | Tamron 28-105mm f/2.8 LD IF Pros: Bright, sharp, very solid construction, usable at all focal lengths, all automatisms work on Canon. Cons: Very heavy for a 105, age, to use with lens hood Opinion: I use this small 995g mammoth (weighed on scales) with Canon mount with great satisfaction. A constant 2.8 that can be used at all times. Closed by a couple of stops churns out very nice rows. For me it's an all-rounder, on FF from street to landscapes and it's indispensable in low-light situations. Certainly it is bulky, with the lens hood mounted it has an external diameter of almost 110mm and a length at 105 mm of 220mm, quite heavy to carry and even on not really light machines it unbalances a bit (I use it on 6d and 50d) but, for my needs and capabilities, for now it is a fair compromise to have quality files. Last consideration, it is used at very affordable prices so the value for money is very high. sent on April 25, 2024 |
