![]() | Panasonic Lumix LX100 Pros: compact construction with robust and good ergonomics, manual controls with dials for opening times and over and under exposure intentional, Leica lens light with good focal range (F1.7 - F2.8 24-75 mm equivalent), electronic viewfinder quality, blurred, workability of the raw, 4K video, ability to mount filters (43 mm), very responsive (for a compact), good quality / price ratio (EUR 618 on Amazon). Cons: rings that move easily by acting on that station (problem for those with large hands), poor battery life on video and using LCD, lack of built-in flash, limited resolution (about 12 megapixels effective), system focus to which I still get used ... Opinion: Taken alongside accompanying reflex FF outputs read without sacrificing too much image quality and the complete control of shooting parameters. Obviously ergonomics and reactivity are not comparable to those of an SLR, but it is not the size ... Tested on occasion of street are very pleased with the pictures taken home. There are more compact, with higher resolution, less costly ... LX100 is a compromise that to me is enjoyed especially robust construction that falls well in hand, controls analog and optical quality. For now I can not say any more, because in any case already been well described by those who preceded me in helping me decide to buy. Recommended as a second machine for street and in general for read and outputs as first machine for beginners or for those who does not need higher performance and versatility of SLR and mirrorless. sent on October 27, 2015 |
![]() | Sigma 50mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art Pros: value for money, sharpness, no distortion, AF, three-dimensionality Cons: non-tropical conditions a bit 'bulky compared to the other 50 mm on the market Opinion: Perceived high quality of construction. Mounted on Canon 6D, the AF is fast and I did not detect any problem of front back focus and therefore no need for calibration. Aberrations and distortions almost absent. Extreme sharpness. Bokeh "neutral", pleasant, perhaps less pictorial than Canon, but clarity and no distortion have their price. Three-dimensionality. Discreet little more longer, wider and heavier than any other 50 mm but you get used to. Another limitation is probably the lack of weather sealing. After the first shots I have not removed from the machine for a long time, leaving behind various optics with red line. Excellent value for money. Update: after about eight months has become my favorite optics that replace only some landscape photos. Absolutely recommended. sent on December 24, 2014 |
![]() | Canon 6D Pros: ease of use, high ISO performance, ergonomics, click silenziosorn Cons: control of white balance Opinion: A big leap for someone like me who comes from a 500D. Reduced weight and size, is comfortable to hold. Build quality perceived quite high. Very pleased with the overall image quality (it is my first FF). The high ISO performance is impressive: excellent up to 3200, very good up to 6400 and still acceptable up to 12800. The focus is fast and accurate at the midpoint. Perhaps some limits on the points side: not a number (the ones that there are more than enough), but the speed in case of low light or pursuit. Tends to a little underweight. No immediate access to the control of white balance. Gust, shutter speeds and flash sync is not at the top but more than adequate to photos of landscape, portrait, action and travel provided they are not too fast. I appreciate the choice of the SD card. A second card would have been nice but not essential. I do not feel the lack of built-in flash. Long battery life. Ability to activate silent shutter. GPSintegrated. Possibility of remote shutter release and transfer files in WiFi. The HDR Room churning out good file. With the step Multi instead have not been able to get pictures of quality but I made very few shots with this mode. I do not find myself using the image processing raw Room, understandably incomplete functions and limited by the size of the screen. In conclusion, I am very happy with the purchase. Definitely recommended for those who want to make the transition to the FF and did not need a burst of faster or more AF points. For its ease of use and automatic (scenes) can also be considered as entry level, albeit "luxury". rn sent on March 25, 2013 |
