Hasselblad H5D or ...Mobile Phone??? in Discussion Forum November 25, 2013, 15:35 My question is, if it has any substance, huge resolution sensor in a mobile phone (for example 38.2 megapixels). In my opinion, the linear analysis of these tiny lenses can not afford such detail, also the sensor on a mobile it's just microscopic. Soon, the analysis in mobile will overtake analysis of Hasselblad H5D-50 ...:-), :-) My conclusion is that companies and consumers are simply lost in the analysis .... Specifically, how can I pick out each photo "winner" for the specific thematically, among the others that bear the same inscription? Also I would suggest, on file with the previous themes, it is possible to seeing, what was the photo that also informally distinguished by the staff. I send greetings to all, Markos. 5 comments, 1440 views - Show/Reply Dust and companies ostriches... in Discussion Forum August 13, 2013, 11:49 A matter that concerns me very long, it is because that, the major companies producing cameras, they have not made any serious effort to effectively address the problem of dust on the sensor. In the last ten years, we experienced a real revolution in the development of sensors and is currently available to the relatively wide audience, sensor with ...36 MP(!!!) resolution. Unfortunately to date, we continue to clean these expensive and sensitive sensors with simplistic means. I notice that the main companies assume no responsibility on this matter, but cleaning products produce other companies, often of questionable quality ... Personally I live in a relatively small island of the Aegean and for me, it is not easily accessible the service of official representative in the capital. Hopefully not become dramatic, but personally the dust has become a real nightmare and each time it is necessary to clean the sensor, shaking my soul not to cause any damage to my camera... One idea that I have is to invent a device that snaps to mount as the lens and make simultaneously diagnosing and cleaning, and I do not think something like that anyway, is technologically impossible! Convey my thoughts in the community because I assume that many others have the same concerns, especially those photographed in areas away from the services, which are readily available in cities. I hope soon to see available in the market something innovative and effective ... Greetings to all, Markos. 0 comments, 723 views - Show/Reply |

I grew up and I continue to live in Amorgos island. I like exploring and photographing this primordial and magical place. With landscape photography steeped in the past fifteen years and I am self taught.
Some of the great landscape photographers, whom I admire are: Ansel Adams, Edward Weston, Michael Fatali, Joe Cornish, Yann Arthus-Bertrand, Bernhard Edmaier, Marc Adamus.
