![]() | Tamron 11-20mm f/2.8 Di III-A RXD Pros: Sharp, light, 67mm of filters suitable for practically all Tamron lenses, autofocus on a par with Sony, f2.8 Cons: Bokeh, flare Opinion: The only thing I don't like about the Tamron lenses I've tried is the bokeh. Very bad. Onion ring everywhere. And the flare is bad. If light enters, even from the edge, it ruins your image. Too bad because it also makes a nice star but you can't use it. Used in combination with the 17-70 where I hoped to have finally found the perfect lenses unfortunately I returned them both. Tamron makes lenses that on paper seem perfect for focal length. weight.. opening.. but in the end they all give them back and change them. Too bad.. But when you say "this is the price to pay" in this case the less you pay the less you have sent on October 30, 2024 |
![]() | Sony FE 20-70mm F4 G Pros: All Cons: Nothing Opinion: After trying sigma 14-24 f2.8, Sony 16-35 f2.8 gmaster, and other worse lenses I can safely say without a shadow of a doubt that this is a perfect lens. Always excellent autofocus. Minimum focusing distance of 19cm at all focal lengths. Very good. Nice soft bokeh. Non-existent flares. He already makes the star at f5.6. It's not stabilized but I've noticed that Sony lenses with Sony bodies don't know how they have better stabilization than third party lenses. I don't even want to say that it's only f4 because thanks to that it weighs little and has a focal range that you can take with you on vacation for sure and in the city. For the mountains, those who go there know well that it is useless to have a lens that starts from 20mm because it is little and reaches 70mm because it is always too little. But for everything else it's a perfect lens sent on October 30, 2024 |
![]() | Sony E 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS Pros: Impressive sharpness apart from 135, stabilized, focal range, very light Cons: Starts from 18 Opinion: In my humble opinion I can say that it is one of those lenses that I never thought I could say I would be impressed. I bought it yesterday with a bit of doubts because I was not convinced but given the almost zero choice of apsc lenses for Sony in the end I bought it. Very beautiful. Very light, nice bokeh more than anything else because it has 45 cm of minimum distance at all distances. Many complain that it closes at f5.6 but find me a full frame 27-210 lens that reaches f4. The problem is with the cameras especially in video (I have the a6700) which only reaches 32000 ISO. Plus stuff not to be taken for granted is that it is a stabilized lens and trust me that you can see it. By now Sony has decided not to make them anymore but the difference compared to the sigma 10-18 that I have for example you see a lot. The sharpness is impressive apart from 135 but with 26 MP it brings out truly truly remarkable shots. I had the gmaster 16-35 f2.8 which gave me less satisfaction in terms of sharpness. The focus is not lightning fast but there unfortunately you have to take into account that on such a focal range you would need the linear motors that they now use on new zoom lenses such as Sony's 10-20 f4 and the like. That said, however, it is always fluid, pleasant and linear, it does not go back and forth to resume fire like those of third parties. The bokeh is nice, not like Tamron's which I personally suck, it's full of onion ring is unwatchable. This one is soft despite the 7 blades. What can I say? I really didn't expect it so I give it a grade of 9 because giving less would be really unfair sent on October 30, 2024 |
