Sony HX99 Pros: Compact, zoom, digital viewfinder, adjustable screen Cons: very close keys, unmanageable if you use the viewfinder Opinion: I usually use the Reflex (canon 5d II), but for outings with the family I was looking for something compact and fast but high-end, i'm already coming from an old Sony compact always of a high level. Let's say that of this hx99 you can only fall in love, from wide angle to a superzoom, and all ultracompatto. Of course, it is not a reflex, but to travel it is very comfortable and functional. Even though I have a SLR, I always carry it with me. The only flaw is "the absence" of the stabilizer, which after 300mm does not work well and serves the cavaletto (at least for my hand)... The color rendering is good, although it tends to flatten the colors that need to be adjusted in post-production. Difficult the menu, not intuitive both cognitively and applicatively, you have to take a hand and study well the small manual of over 400 pages, because it has many functions. For the rest you have to buy a spare battery pack immediately, at a cost of about twenty euros on amazon take 2 and a convenient charger with display. I highly recommend it because the value for money is great. sent on July 06, 2021 |
