Nel 1970 lascio la scuola e inizio a lavorare in un laboratorio di foto industriale, nel 1974 dovendo partire per il servizio militare mi arruolo in Polizia e nel 1977 arrivo alla Polizia Scientifica e vengo assegnato al laboratorio colore e come istruttore nei corsi per Fotosegnalatore. Nel 1992 inizio a occuparmi anche del Digitale e nel 1995 mi viene assegnata una Kodak DCS, una Nikon F3 dotata di dorso digitale APS-C da "ben" 1 Megapixel e unità di Storage a tracollo. Successivamente e personalmente passo a Canon prima con una EOS 350 D nel tempo sostituita da una 5D MK II con Battery Grip e sempre montato il 17/40 più altre ottiche . Oltre alla suddetta possiedo una compatta Sony che, opportunamente scafandrata, utilizzo nella FotoSub, una Fujifim X100, una EOS M100 con tre ottiche e altre macchine.
