canon_5d2Canon 5D Mark II

Pros: Great grip, good up to 1600 Iso, tropicalization, good display, joystick, full frame, second-hand price (paid 320€) shutter 1/8000

Cons: Iso 6400 to throw away, CF memory price, video only in automatic mode

Opinion: Great value for money. The machine allows you to get photos with beautiful colors, holds isos well up to 1600, it is a full frame, which is synonymous with greater sharpness and image quality. It has good resolution, the display is good. Too bad you can not make videos in manual mode, but for those who are interested in photographs and just highly designed.

canon_50_f1-8_v2Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II

Pros: Cheap and quality. 50th used, money really well spent.

Cons: I'm too satisfied to find any. I have seen, however, that for the same shooting parameters the 50mm f1.4 is "much brighter".

Opinion: Bright and cheap optics, it is a must for those who want to make portraits. Compared to the yongnuo, the image is more detailed, from what I have seen from online photos, which means for example that in a portrait you can also catch imperfections of the skin that the yongnuo would not take, so I do not know if it is good or bad. For those who have canon could as in my case could evaluate the yongnuo, in my case I paid the used canon as the yongnuo, I considered it more commercial even to resell and so I took that. For those who may be a fan of the new gear, the yongnuo for Canon costs less than half a new one and is definitely an attractive alternative.
