![]() | Nikon D3100 Pros: Size, versatility, file, price Cons: Iso seal, focus points, very slow Opinion: The D3100 is the entry level that taught me the basics of digital photography. Recommended for those who want to enter this world by not spending an exaggeration. Clearly, being an entry level the things it can do are limited: for example, with this reflex you make good nocturnal keeping iso not too high (the maximum it can hold is 800 iso). Once I learned the basics and realized that the D3100 could no longer meet my standards, I switched to the D7500: another story and other functions, but for what the D3100 meant to me, I didn't sell it and keep it as a forklift in my bag. sent on April 25, 2021 |
![]() | Sigma 8-16mm f/4.5-5.6 DC HSM Pros: Sharpen image, robustness Cons: Weight, lens gets dirty easily, car focus not flawless, poor brightness Opinion: Wide angle more than valid when used in certain contexts such as street photography or for photographing interiors such as churches and museums. Unfortunately it excels negatively in weight, in fact carrying it around is very uncomfortable especially if you hold the REFLEX around your neck, and in the area of brightness leaves something to be desired. Autofocus is not impeccable and, if it is not stabilized, there is a risk of moving. sent on April 24, 2021 |
![]() | Nikon AF-S DX 35mm f/1.8 G Pros: Sharpness, weight and size, price Cons: Don't have it in your bag, it's a plasticone Opinion: A very valid objective in terms of sharp image and comfort: it is small and light and above all, which is no small matter, it is cheap! It excels in street photography and night at small to medium distance. It is also very valid for portraits, although for those the 50 mm would be the top. Unfortunately it sins on the material, but for what Nikon offers us is a lens more than promoted! sent on April 24, 2021 |
![]() | Nikon AF-S 50mm f/1.8 G Pros: Great bokeh effect, not excessive weight and size, sharp images, price on used Cons: Don't have it in your bag Opinion: For portrait painters this lens is a must. I also made portraits with 35 mm but the results with 50 mm are quite different simply for the bokeh effect: on the latter the yield is much better. Let's not forget that it goes up to 1.8 opening and that if mounted on APS-C it becomes a 75 mm, so it is also great for night at medium-long distance. As for the price, if you decide to take it used, there are good chances of saving compared to the new one. sent on April 24, 2021 |
![]() | Nikon AF-S DX 55-200mm f/4-5.6 G ED Pros: A compact and economical super zoom that does its job well Cons: Low brightness, material Opinion: Basic kit lens offered with the D3100. For those who start it does a good job especially in the field of portraiture because it gives an appreciable bokeh effect, but the whole thing is heavily penalized by the low brightness that this lens can offer you. In PP you can solve the vast majority of these drawbacks, but once you know the basics it is good to go on other goals if you want to raise the target. sent on April 24, 2021 |
![]() | Nikon AF-S DX 16-80mm f/2.8-4 E ED VR Pros: Sharpness, great all do Cons: price Opinion: On the D7500 fits perfectly. The colors are crisp and great combinations of lights and shadows are made when applied to certain iris aperture parameters and exposure times. It is very convenient on any occasion since it is obviously a zoom lens. It excels in landscape photos as a wide angle. Unfortunately it sins on price, but quality must be paid especially in nikon house. sent on April 24, 2021 |
![]() | Nikon D7500 Pros: Iso seal, color gamut, light, sensor, sharpness, burst Cons: Dual slot absent, battery grip unenforceable Opinion: Since I come from a D3100, I immediately saw the abysmal differences: the D7500 is in all respects one of the best performing semi-pro SLRs in the Nikon world. In fact, the keys and functions are more or less the same as professional SLRs, especially the older sister D500. The screen is very convenient as, turning it, it is easily adaptable as needed. The snapbridge connection feature is also convenient in case you want to edit photos quickly. In the photos I also noticed very good clarity even with basic goalses. He's literally not afraid of the dark. The burst of photos is notable for being a semi pro, making it suitable for sports photography. It sins in the case of battery grip and double slots, characteristics that would have made the difference. In any case, the D7500 is recommended for those who come from an entry level and want to make the qualitative leap. Personally I can be satisfied with the purchase: if we take into account my current standards of photographs, the D7500 does too much! sent on April 24, 2021 |
