![]() | Canon 60Da Pros: A simpler solution to do astrophotography in an acceptable way. Cons: Canon advertises it as a fair compromise to take both types of photos, both astronomical and daytime. But in daytime photos I find problems getting the autofocus to work. Opinion: I bought this camera used recently but grafting a lens from 18/135 mm to take daytime photos I noticed difficulty using the autofocus, in the points of the sensors arranged in a rhombus for autofocus, if you frame a landscape and drop the high vertex, the highest point of the rumble of the sensors on the sky, The autofocus does not work it jerks back and forth and does not find the focus or completely misses it. To make it work you have to frame the scene by keeping the camera low so that the highest point does not fall into the sky, focus and holding down the shutter button in half block the focus and then recompose the scene by raising the camera and shooting but in this way it is not said that you really focus on what you wanted because the central point is obviously not where you wanted it to be. As far as color balance is concerned, it seems more than acceptable. That this problem is due to the particular balance of the machine to be used in both modes, astro and diurnal? sent on June 08, 2023 |
