![]() | Leica X Vario (Typ 107) Pros: Impeccable construction, simplicity, immediate feeling, optical although not very bright excellent, photographic yield, raw in DNG format, versatility. Cons: Unluminous lens but nothing dramatic, autofocus at low lights bad, lack of viewfinder. Opinion: The camera is very pleasant to use, simple, direct, no frills, in pure Bauhaus style the shape follows the function. It's versatile, small, and the raw files are exceptional and easily workable, without the artifacts of some newer cameras. Too bad for the lack of the viewfinder, which is available as an optional at the prices that unfortunately we know well. The only real flaw is the autofocus in the absence of good lighting, but on the other hand focus is effective and pleasant to use. sent on February 05, 2020 |
![]() | Pentax K-5 Pros: Compactness, ergonomics, high ISO yield, chromatic yield, tropicalized, sensor stabilizer, reliability. Cons: I'm aiming a little small, selling it... Opinion: I say that I love the brand, both for emotional reasons and for philosophy (a few machines each in its band). Previous reviews have already said it all, mine is just a statement of affection for the years that accompanied me with great satisfaction. I had various optics, zooms, fixed and old Pentax optics, always found divinely. I sold it for a high-end compact, but I miss it a lot. Ah, if only Pentax decided to do a mirrorless... sent on January 17, 2020 |
![]() | Fujifilm X100F Pros: Aesthetics, sensor quality, lens brightness. Cons: Ergonomics, raw files that can only be managed with C1, depreciation used, too many unnecessary functions. Opinion: Beautiful to see, how ridiculous to use. Good camera only for street, a genre that by the way bores me to death, the fixed 35 mm focus is perfect to never go well, always too short or too long. The brightness of the lens is there and the blurry and bokeh effect are really nice, but the softness is excessive under f4. If I had to make a list of things I hate I would not finish anymore, I make a short list : colors, ergonomics (full of keys, sticks and wheels, so much so that every time inadvertently touch something), raw owner, really ridiculous options (movie simulation, in-room crop, grain effect, etc.), dynamic range, used null value, quick but unreliable autofocus, etc. Conclusion, Fujifilm from me will never take a penny again. sent on January 14, 2020 |
