Sony FE 16-25mm f/2.8 G Pros: Weight, sharpness, size. Cons: Price, optical range, plastics, filter thread Opinion: Bought it a year ago, I haven't used it very much. The reduced excursion greatly limits its use. The sharpness is very good and flares are not very present in backlights. The weight is also reduced because the optics are entirely made of plastic, which makes it feel like it is not very resistant and can be scratched easily. The thread is made of plastic and by screwing the metal filters you have to be very careful not to damage it, sometimes it is a bit difficult to insert the filters. The price is in my opinion a bit high even taking into account the 2.8 aperture, for the materials used and the little optical excursion I would price it just under 1000€ sent on 03 Gennaio 2026 |

Sigma 30mm f/1.4 DC DN C Pros: Size, Materials, Weight, Color Rendering, Bokeh, Price, Aperture Cons: Chromatic Aberrations, AutoFocus, Sharpness, Flare Opinion: A product with an excellent quality/price ratio. For those who have the right pretensions it is an excellent product. On APSC it is a good focal length for portraits and also landscape (genres I use it for). It is not very sharp, the edges are a bit soft especially at full aperture where the drop in sharpness is perceived a lot and improves optimally at f / 2.8. The Bokeh is very enjoyable. It creates chromatic aberrations, which are however correctable and not too excessive. I found the flares annoying and sometimes intrusive. In fact, not suitable for backlighting or near intense light sources. All the defects, however, are also justified for the very competitive price. The autofocus is not the best, it is still a lens of 7 years ago. If you use it at apertures higher than f / 2.8 the photos it produces are pleasant from the point of view of sharpness and colors. To carry around is comfortable and versatile, thanks to the size, weight and angle of view that corresponds to a 45mm on FF. sent on 24 Febbraio 2023 |

Tamron 11-20mm f/2.8 Di III-A RXD Pros: Brightness, Lightness, absence of chromatic aberrations Cons: Some flare in backlight, plastic material, price Opinion: In my opinion for the moment the best lens for sony apsc on the market, for focal length / aperture. I consider the price a little high, but on the other hand it has come out for a short time. I tried it for a while and I must say that it gives me a lot of satisfaction, the AF is fast and silent is light and quite compact. The focal length it covers is quite ambia. sent on 21 Gennaio 2023 |

Samyang 12mm f/2.0 NCS CS Pros: Price, Material, Opening Cons: Excessive flares against the light, Chromatic aberration, Inaccurate focus ring Opinion: Bought to take night photos, I must say that it does its job sufficiently given the very wide opening. Too bad that backlight creates many flares that are difficult to manage. The materials used are good you feel its robustness when you touch it. The optical yield is not the best but also reflects the very low price that this lens has. Chromatic aberrations are well present, but they are easily solved in post production. sent on 17 Dicembre 2021 |
