![]() | Canon PowerShot G3 X Pros: Focus extension, versatility, portability, material quality, perfect tropicalization Cons: lack of scope (but can be added as optional - at high price of course), lens brightness with maximum zoom, lack of timelapse Opinion: My faithful travel companion, this car was a surprise to me. Initially purchased for naturalistic photos and to be able to shoot even from considerable distances, I realized that it worked well in other areas such as portraits and street. To be a bridge in fact has small size compared to most rivals, which allows it to be carried anywhere without too much weight and clutter and also the design is eye-catching. Very good photo quality, not like a full frame or pro machines of course, but considering the one-inch sensor exceeded expectations. Even the videos are of quality and with maximum definition I managed to make some half an hour. There is no possibility to make veritimelapse, there is only a vaguely similar function for shooting stars but it is not much. Personally I consider it fundamental and excellent on a machine like this tropicalization, I happened to use it even in dusty or humid environments but I have never encountered grains or problems in the lens. The optional electronic viewfinder is very useful but also expensive unfortunately. However, I wouldn't do without it as it's very responsive and orientable. The zoom is crazy, in sufficient light conditions you can make good shots even when it is at its best, but when this is poor without tripod is difficult as the brightness of the lens at 25x is already much lower. Apart from that, I have not found any defects and I would definitely recommend it to those who want a real all-rounder to take anywhere without worries and to those who have tired of having many goals and weights to load but do not want to miss any shots. sent on May 18, 2019 |
![]() | Canon G7X Mark II Pros: Design, compactness, luminous optics Cons: Limited battery, yield over 1200 iso Opinion: In my opinion a successful machine, although not very slim is still pocketable. To be a compact has remarkable zoom and optical brightness, the dials are well studied and its design is crazy. Nice to see even before you try. Its weight, despite its small size, for me is an additional quality parameter. To his detriment the high iso yield, over 1200 already visible, personally I have never gone beyond 800. But I think this too is acceptable to a little girl like her, who is now also sold at a fair price, unlike a couple of years ago. The only reason I gave it up, but it's purely subjective, is that it's not tropicalized and like others I had doubts about using it in dusty environments or in adverse weather conditions. sent on April 28, 2019 |
![]() | Canon G1X Mark III Pros: Compactness, lightness, construction and sensor quality, viewfinder Cons: Price (at least for now, if new), lens brightness Opinion: A small one that amazes, I have to say that some things impress immediately: the design in my opinion impeccable and the feeling as soon as you hold it for the first shots, which is surprising thanks to the quality of the materials used and the compactness. The menu is intuitive, but I don't know if it can seem like this for everyone, I've already had other Canons. I find the electronic viewfinder very good and responsive and also good image quality, thanks to the large sensor. Usable with satisfactory results up to 1600 ISOs, it is also better not to go further. Less exciting the brightness of the lens at maximum zoom, I would have hoped for something better, but given the size at the end I think it's understandable. In any case for those who want a functional machine, not bulky and not too demanding I would say that it is excellent. And the fact that it is also tropicalized is a plus not to be underestimated for those like me who want to take it everywhere, without being afraid that sudden adverse conditions can ruin it and then relegate it to custody. sent on April 27, 2019 |
