![]() | Leica D-LUX 5 Pros: Reduced size, portability, zoom width, image quality, fun, brand Cons: Complicated commands Opinion: I bought second-hand this 10Megapixel device thinking of using it little and instead I have a lot of fun photographing with it. The quality of the images is good and also very good, you can save it even in RAW, you can also make HD movies. Among the settings prepared there is also the one to make photos in "miniature", which is fun. The photo formats can be set from the dial around the zoom and are 1:1, 4:3, 3:2, 16:9 (although I only keep the latter). There is also a built-in flash. The controls are a bit unintuitive and the keys very small, but you just have to get used to it. The learning curve to learn the various and many possibilities is more than a long one. It has a bright (2) zoom Leica Summicron with focal 24-90 mm. It does not spoil the look really pleasant (black) and this compact is comfortable to hold in the hand even for those like me who have big hands. The vision is only through the screen placed on the back and not tipper. It lacks an optical viewer but you can buy it as an optional even if very expensive (for me it is not worth it). In short, I often take it with me in its leather case purchased with it and I have a lot of fun. Quality and practicality at your fingertips, literally. Don't forget the brand, too. Although they are perhaps sophistry (as you know this machine has an equivalent twin of the Lumix that costs a little less) the name helps a lot in resale and in the always lively collecting for this famous logo. sent on September 27, 2019 |
