![]() | Nikon D300 Pros: Robustness, weight, ergonomics, AF speed, sensor, great RAW files Cons: High ISO tightness but now the noise is corrected in PP Opinion: I added the weight (almost 1 kg!) to the pros because when you pick up this camera you have a feeling of security and ergonomics that the almost square and sometimes plasticky bodies of today's mirrorless cameras don't have. A real tank! For work I use the Z6 II and Fuji XT-3 but these don't give me the same feeling as the D300, its construction and reliability. The only flaw is the high iso sealing, but now with the noise reduction through artificial intelligence of Adobe Camera Raw we can say that this problem almost no longer arises. I'm currently using it with a nikon af 35mm f2 D (comparable to a 50mm on FF) and I'm very happy with the rendering of the RAW files. I'll just conclude by saying that this camera is the DX sister of the D3 (one of the best reflex cameras ever produced by nikon if not perhaps the best, WB always perfect even in automatic, something that I didn't notice anymore in the following flagships) and in fact it is absolutely no less! sent on November 28, 2023 |
