![]() | Pentax K-3 Pros: Compact, stabilised, tropicalized, excellent build quality, good high ISO seal Cons: AF continuous embarrassing, non-orientable screen Opinion: I had a K5, I tried it and I fell in love: Single AF decidedly improved, good yield to high ISO, improved ergonomics and live view finally usable in fashion; With various firmware upgrades It is also improved and now also has the ability to use the new lenses to KAF4 bayonet. The thing that impressed me the most are the files that are very malleable. Compared to the K5 the noise at high ISO occurs first (due to the denser sensor) but nothing terrifying; The single autofocus is definitely improved though unfortunately the continuous one continues to be the real weakness of the Pentax machines in general. sent on August 19, 2018 |
![]() | Pentax SMC DA 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 AL WR Pros: Build quality, WR, compact, quick shift Cons: I would say only the variable aperture not very bright (common problem with kit lenses), AF noisy Opinion: "Battle" Kit Zoom that has its strength in being weather sealed and have the quick shift function for the focus. Used in the rain and snow without ever having a problem. It has a good image quality even though as all the kits has a very dark variable aperture. The classic lens to always keep in the bag and to be used in adverse weather conditions. sent on August 19, 2018 |
![]() | Pentax SMC DA 50mm f/1.8 Pros: Price, size, sharpness, brightness Cons: For someone I would say the plastic attack, autofocus a bit noisy, not WR, not quick shift Opinion: Recommended for anyone who wants a fifty bright AF cheap (if one does not have problems with manual focus then I would recommend the Pentax A50 F 1.7). I was very impressed by the rendering and the sharpness of the image at the brighter openings. Sometimes it tends to have problems of front/back focus easily correctable in the car since almost all the Pentax machines allow it, except the old entry level. The plastic attack I have never found a problem since it is very durable and does not creat or anything. If he had the quick shift or at least been a WR it would have been even better since they were technologies already put at the time on the 18/55. sent on August 19, 2018 |
![]() | Pentax A SMC 28mm f/2.8 Pros: Sharpness, bright, compact and light Cons: On APS-C remains a bit ' short, sometimes tends to have magenta reflexes (while still a lens 30 and more years ago...) Opinion: Using mainly manual focus is one of the lenses I use and I love the most; It is found at human prices and has a more than good quality even on very dense sensors (I use it mainly on a K3) while the focus ring turns well and is very precise. It is light and even in a bag it does not occupy that much space. On certain occasions of light tends to have magenta reflexes but with a lens hood you can usually avoid them. Recommended to anyone who has a Pentax DSLR since putting the ring nut in position a you can get full control of the automatisms. sent on August 19, 2018 |
