![]() | Nikon Z 26mm f/2.8 Pros: Really small, light, metal bayonet, sharp. Cons: Cost, noisy focus motor compared to average S lenses Opinion: the lens that as an old Nikon reflexist I have always wanted finally at Nikon on the Z system. Its greatest advantage is undoubtedly its portability and it is really convenient to carry. I mounted it on a z5 and was able to carry it in a decent fanny pack all summer. Of course, reducing the size of a lens so much has contraindications. The focus at least with the z5 is sometimes a bit uncertain, the sharpness although good is not comparable with the fixed S such as the 35 f/1.8. In many situations if it hadn't been for the 26mm I would have left the camera at home and instead I was able to take it with me even to the beach. The reactions of people in case of street or stolen portraits are surprising, they do not notice it or do not pay attention to it and with this I conclude. sent on August 15, 2024 |
