![]() | Panasonic Lumix G Vario 12-32mm f/3.5-5.6 OIS Pros: Extreme compactness Cons: it has no real obvious flaws Opinion: I find both the optics and ideally "complete" the basic set up of a 4/3 to always keep in your bag! It covers an interesting focal range useful for coping with many photographic situations, also offering a decent quality (certainly not excellent, but better than I initially expected!). Its extreme compactness is the main feature, it really takes up very little space. Personally I promote it with flying colors, I think it offers an adequate relationship between quality and price which is really low on the second-hand market. I rarely use it now, because I found in the 15mm (fixed and bright) my main reference lens: yet it is comforting to know that I have it in my bag and be able to use it when necessary, it has repeatedly offered me the opportunity to look for interesting photographic solutions (also thanks to the use of nd and cpl filters: very small too!). sent on July 15, 2025 |
![]() | Panasonic Leica DG Summilux 15mm f/1.7 ASPH Pros: Lightweight, robust and with excellent performance Cons: None really relevant Opinion: I use this lens with great satisfaction, so much so that I hardly disassemble it from my 4:3. I really like the performance and the large aperture allows me to shoot even indoors in low light conditions. I'm among those who lost the lens hood on one of the first outings so I would say that yes, this is a defect!! To the touch, it gives a comforting impression of solidity. It does not have tropicalization but honestly for a "common" use I do not find it a real limit: not even the car is tropicalized, so in any case I would avoid using it in extreme environments. Highly recommended, for those who have "in the ropes" the focal length equivalent to 30mm can be a more than successful choice! sent on July 31, 2024 |
