Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM Pros: Price. Brightness. Footprint. Peso.rn Cons: Fullframe is a useless focus. Opinion: It was my first optic. This, which is the third version, also has the metal attack so not bad. It's really light and has a zero footprint. It's f1.8 so shoot when you look and with a bokeh afraid. Little cost and being a fixed optic is a great way to learn how to manage composition. The only flaw is that in my view, on fullframe, 50mm is a really useless focal point. Too close to landscaping. Too wide to make portraits. On apsc becomes a 75-80 so perfect for portraits but on fullframe it's really limited. If you find it at 70-80 € take it but since you often pay it 110-130 €, keep some money for something else. AF fine but not very good. Turning back probably will take it back because as before, it allows you to spend a little more on the body without giving up standard goals but I could do it quietly. I therefore advise those who want to approach the world of photography to buy a good body machine leavingin the store the standard targets they propose (18-55 24-105) and buying this as the first lens of this. As soon as you have purchased the lens that suits your photo style (maybe a bright lens), you will understand that this 50's will do without you.
