![]() | Sony A7r IV Pros: Ergonomics, Sensor, Battery, File Workability, AF and more Cons: Brain menu, a little too noisy from 1600 iso onwards, unlit keys Opinion: It was my first mirrorless. From the fantastic Nikon D850 (still today I think it is fantastic) to the Sony A7R IV it was not a painless passage, but over time I was able to appreciate it so much. I don't shoot at high ISOs and maybe what I miss most is the ability to go under 100, but even so it's a must for those who do landscaping. Let us be clear, it is very valid in all fields, but that is its nature. Light to carry with, especially with the lenses I have in place at the moment, everything is very balanced. The AF is amazing, as is the mirimo where I thought you had the most problems passing from that of the D850, instead I immediately got used to it and appreciated being able to directly review the shot and the details in the crosshairs. I have a very powerful computer and I have no problem managing raw files, where even with photos that I would normally have binned, I can pull out fantastic images. The silence of the shot, the burst, the quality of the body, the double memory card make it an almost perfect machine, too bad for the menu and little else. Maybe a little off-topic, but if 2 years ago there was the Nikon Z7 II, maybe I would have stayed in the Nikon house, but just for an affective speech and because I had never used a Sony. What can I say, maybe better that way. sent on June 03, 2021 |
![]() | Nikon D850 Pros: Electronic shutter, touchscreen tilting, autofocus, viewfinder, focus peaking, burst, ergonomics and more Cons: Nobody Opinion: I come from a D810, and for me, the D850 has everything that was missing the previous model.rnSensore fantastic (but it was already with the D810), excellent noise management considering the increase in megapixels, very manageable up to 6400 iso. rnPersonally hardly go beyond 1600, so that's fine, fast and precise AF, improved burst, touch screen very useful and responsive, focus peaking and many other things that were missing at the D810. Even ergonomics have improved a lot, I really appreciated the displacement of the iso button, much more functional where it is now.rnThe first time I looked through the viewfinder, wow, a whole other story, what else, excellent battery life , wi-fi, bluetooth, beautiful touchscreen tilting, focus stacking, improved timelaps, excellent lens calibration system, xqd and many other little things yet to be discovered.rnAs I wrote at the beginning, there is all that there it was good in the D810, plus so many other things, that make itta D850, a SLR suitable for any type of photo.rnUne negative note, the video section still to be improved, but not using it, I do not weigh. sent on February 06, 2018 |
