Canon EF-S 24mm f/2.8 STM Pros: 1. Blurred af / 2.8 rn2. Compatibility rn3. Mass a fuocorn4. Resistenzarn5. Versatility Cons: None (apart from slight vignetting, which I will discuss in the review) Opinion: I have this little gem for over a year. He has accompanied me in the most varied adventures, and he has never disappointed me: I photographed the Carnival of Ivrea, made several trips, made photos (amateur level) at a wedding and the last experience was a trip to Poland to the fields of Auschwitz concentration. rnrnHow to say, in this last experience I only brought my 60D and 24mm as a personal challenge and I was not disappointed, indeed. The versatility of this lens is staggering. The reduced focal length makes it suitable for Street but also in the portrait it defends itself very well. The focus is very fast and silent, and the blur at 2.8 makes it perfect for street photography: isolates the subject, but makes you guess the background at the right point. rnrnAl carnival of Ivrea has taken orange sketches and did not suffer anything, let alone the snow or rain, although not tropicalized.rnrnThe only cons is not a cons, but it is subjective: the slight touch of vignetting, which however af / 4 disappears, gives; a unique atmosphere to the photos and the post production is reduced to a minimum. rnrnRecommended at 100%. rnrnIf you are interested in seeing the shots I made with this lens, visit my Instagram profile @giacomoverzino sent on February 17, 2018 |
