long exposure - stars trails in Discussion Forum June 30, 2012, 12:22 I have a question for you with regards to long exposure. I've noticed that photographers are using 2 different methods: Some prefer multiple exposures, say 50-100 frames of 30 second each and others are practicing straight 30 minutes exposure. In few words, can you underline the pro and cons of each technique? When do we use one in lieu of the other? Thanx and have a nice weekend Yossi 0 comments, 1001 views - Show/Reply A beginner question - deleting a photo in Discussion Forum June 24, 2012, 12:57 Well, I'm not a beginner in photography, I'm new member. I uploaded my first frame twice and could not find a function to perform a deletion. Can someone direct me how to do this? Thank you 1 comments, 1378 views - Show/Reply Translation to English? in Discussion Forum June 23, 2012, 16:40 Hello friends, I'm a new member. I want to upload pictures to my gallery but the categories are all in Italian. Some of the categories are similar to English but most of them - I do not understand... Help, anyone? At some point in my life I moved to the US where I got my Electrical Engineering degree at Pratt Institute (Brooklyn, NY)and continue my career in the States for the next 20 some years working at all kind of independent software houses and ended working for one of the largest Hi-Tech companies.
I had no life there and decided to move back to Israel where the quality of life and leisure time brought me back to life.
I got my first camera - Canon 3S IS, start traveling and taking a lot of photos until I've maxed it out and got my first DSLR - Canon 400D.
And then I become addicted to photography, got more lenses, and stated to travel the world, upgraded to Canon 50D and now I own the 7D.
During the last 5 years I've averaged 2-3 trips per year to all kind of exotic destinations like: Arctic Circle, Galapagos, Morocco, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zanzibar, Croatia, Namibia, Kenya, and some more.
As a result of the traveling around the world I become more naturalist and it increased my awareness to nature and the need for its preservation and thinking green.
I'm most attracted to wild life and nature photography but I do shoot also street and portraits.
