![]() | Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM II Pros: Speed and precision autofocus very good sharpness at all focal Cons: As already mentioned by others, the usual lens hood not in outfit but to buy apart (fortunately it is not original good invoice at a ridiculously cheap price) Opinion: I bought this optics discounted 50% at a very low price and cheap. I have to say I was surprised as far as the optical quality, compared to the previous model I had, there really is an abyss, especially at the long focal lengths. I also had the way to compare it directly on the field, taking the same photos with the same parameters with the older brother L series, I have not noticed significant differences in the sharpness. The only difference I have noticed is that the USM compared to the L-series at the maximum focal underlays of half a diaphragm while the older brother maintains a precise exposure, perhaps the 5.6 is only theoretical but are negligible little qualities given the overall quality. As for the construction, I would say it is good, certainly not at the levels of the L obvious series, also because otherwise it would not justify the difference in price, but still more than dignified. Also interesting is the modern solution of the small multifunction display that allows you to select the focal, the distances or the level at will. Conclusions, for those interested in this type of focal without wishing to invest too high figures, and does not have special requirements of tropicalization or extreme robustness x heavy use I recommend it quietly, will not be disappointed by the optical quality. sent on June 13, 2019 |
