Nato a Siena il 13 luglio 1969.
Maturità presso il Liceo Classico Angelo Poliziano, Montepulciano (Siena).
Laurea in Medicina e Chirurgia presso l'Università di Siena; specializzazione in Chirurgia Generale presso la stessa Università.
Attualmente lavora presso l'Ospedale Misericordia di Grosseto ed è Direttore del Dipartimento di Chirurgia Generale e d'Urgenza dell'Azienda USL Toscana Sud Est, inclusivo delle province di Siena, Grosseto, Arezzo.
Coniugato, con due figli.
Coltiva l'hobby della fotografia sin dai tempi del liceo, quando ha iniziato ad impiegare una reflex su un telescopio newtoniano.
Dopo alcuni anni di pausa, ha riscoperto recentemente questa passione ed il mondo della fotografia digitale.
