Pros: Dynamic Range - Excellent ergonomics - Many features - Image definition even in small details

Cons: Autofocus mischies with little light - Easy Micromosso - Weight

Opinion: I confirm all points in favour already listed. Electronics and "software" department, let's say, very well developed and complete. As for the sensitivity to high ISOs, well it's certainly not a catch machine on the fly in dark or dim conditions, fatigue a bit. As far as I'm concerned, taking into account the right shooting safety times, when you get to the 1600 iso we are at the limit, if we wanted to make big prints later. If, on the other hand, our outputs are limited to photos from the web or at least prints less demanding in terms of size then you can go even further, 3200 - 6400. And it's not even a "vintage lens" machine, given the very high resolution and lack of the low-pass filter that amplifies the microdetail. So you have to take into account coupled with very bright and sharp lenses, it is not uncommon in fact to drool images with micromoxes that at the time of shooting, on display, you do not notice. But the most painful point, at least for me, is surely the autofocus that trudges pitifully into situations of lack of brightness - and I don't say darkness! There are those who responded by saying that you do not know how to use autofocus properly, but in reality you have to try to believe: tried in the rehearsal room, even with pilot light help for example, on subject medium illuminated by soft ambient light, with single-point focus mode, the car seals empty as if there were no tomorrow. It works a little better in these cases the group autofocus (new mode) although paradoxically it was not designed for studio portrait situations! I renew this review to date in 2020, after almost 5 years of use because I liked to share impressions following all the improvements recently made on digital machines and I refer to Mirrorless in particular. The D810 in my opinion is a very high-performance machine and with exceptional files to post produce especially in studio situations, still life but also landscapes or portraits, possibly static. I think it has very few rivals in this regard, even if we compare the last ML. If, on the other hand, we were looking for a higher operational speed, a better performing autofocus, for example typical situations in weddings, then maybe I would consider it more as a second body than as a first choice. My vote: 8

Pros: Aesthetically beautiful and very pleasant feeling to the touch between the rubber of the handgrips and the cold mechanical metal we use to move the three axes. Bubbles leveling plus absolutely highlight.

Cons: Finishing materials (more 'quality' maybe, I would say) not up to the Made in Italy (as labeled well exposed, and on the head and on tripod).

Opinion: Mounted on a tripod Manfrotto 190 MT X PRO3 - and 'a head that qualitatively well mates with this stand. NOT 'a geared head, so do not complain if it is not' accurate as you wanted (EH !!) but in return well holds the nearly 3 pounds of my kit (and in reality 'can' even more 'specified) . I would say that 'a good alternative if you want to have a versatile head also to turn a simple video being on site. What NOT impressed positively were the finishing material: the coupling part where you screw the levers (3) of facts, presents sbocconcellature that more 'made in Italy, I remember a made in Bangladesh, or made in -where-you-want. Also I am not convinced too that the washers softening all'avvitaggio the same levers are free free to move up and down '... Nothing compromising the functionality' of the same head anyway. Rating: 7+

nikon_d3100Nikon D3100

Pros: Value for money, good manageability, discrete sensor

Cons: Lack of autofocus in the camera body, lack of bracketing

Opinion: My first reflex. It is a thunderbolt of war but defended well especially if accompanied by accessories do not necessarily professional, I mean tripod and some filters delicious: night shots with time up to 30 sec. (Or even Bulb!) Noise reduction are very pleasant! The noise is content to say also 1600ISO (I shot the Aquarium of Livorno without the ability to use the flash and freehand in completely dark environments ... well you see my pictures with the lens 18-55VR included) . What makes them lose several points on the initial purchase is definitely the lens standard, not the height of the sensor! If you plan to purchase a long-term use, but go ahead affiancateci an AF-S) worthy in sharpness and overall quality as it can be a Nikkor 70-300VR (priced at approx 500caffè, compared to 150 in the 18-55VR) if nothing else you will have to thè fun in a variety of occasions! The functions in the room are different and remember the guide incorporated, even if in reality after some time of use more or less assiduous if it is really without! (He's done to fulfill its task on me? :) Finally, the ability to shoot in RAW for editing after computer advised not to use the processing RAW files directly in your room, which is possible but that returns JPEG "risky" . Good light at all! (It says so?)
