![]() | Leica Q2 Monochrom Pros: You have in your hand an object that is the history of photography .... image quality in BN that only the monocrhom sensor can provide. Almost like the old analog film Cons: the price, but it is known that at these levels nothing is cheap. Perhaps not very ergonomic in the handle (can be improved with a body or bracket) Opinion: first impressions are of an exceptional overall quality. Now I photograph for 90% in BN so for me it was a natural step to get to the monocrhom sensor and I must say that at the moment the expectations have all been well placed in Q2M. I would like to avoid post-production activity as much as possible and it seems to me that the return files of Q2M are perhaps the right way to limit this exercise as much as possible. sent on September 12, 2022 |
![]() | Nikon AF-S 50mm f/1.8 G Pros: light and compact, discreet in size. Cons: at the moment nothing considering that optics has an acceptable price at all budgets Opinion: I had definitely more "performing" and bland 50mm, but I have to say that this lens surprised me on my D850. Nice blurry at f 1.8 and already at f 2.5 sharpness is not bad. Light and not very invasive for street wiev, fun for the Close up. I would say that it is a advisable optics and if added to the excellent quality of the body 850 the pair is respectfully. sent on November 11, 2020 |
![]() | Nikon 35mm f/2 AI-s Pros: lightness and sharpness of images Cons: I can't tell Opinion: recovered from the optical park of my old Nikon, almost by mistake I started to use it with the D850 ....... I'm not a great technician and my opinion is from "pushed amateur", but I had the distinct feeling that this optics can safely withstand the comparison with other and more emblazoned lenses. I've had and still have next-generation Zeiss and Nikon lenses so I can make some obvious comparisons. I highly recommend it, if you are not too obsessed with the lack of AF and the use of manual exposure ....... here it goes the old-fashioned way. sent on January 25, 2020 |
![]() | Sony RX1 Pros: portability, exceptional optical quality and the FF sensor Cons: fixed screen Opinion: purchased at an affordable price but above average for a compact, but you know that you pay for and if it is paid off. I use it as an alternative to NIKON D750 especially when I want quality in the mountains and I can not afford (even in the wall) to take all the equipment the reflex. rnper last but not least, I find that the BN is simply amazing sent on April 26, 2017 |
