Ho cominciato a fotografare nei primi anni '60 con una Voigtlander Vitoret e, da allora, la passione e le emozioni sono rimaste immutate.
Nel '76, durante un soggiorno di lavoro a Grosseto,alcuni amici mi hanno fatto conoscere il mondo dei minerali ed attratto dallo perfezione ed unicità dei cristalli ho cominciato a fotografare i miei e quelli di collezioni private e musei, sia italiani che esteri. Ho collaborato con riviste del settore e ho fornito tutte le fotografie che hanno illustrato il volume " Le pietre degli Etruschi". Dopo l'avvento del digitale ho sospeso per alcuni anni le foto dei minerali dedicandomi alle escursioni fotografiche con gli amici.
Da poco, avendo tempo a disposizione,grazie alle nuove opportunità che ti permettono di ottenere risultati prima impensabili ho ripreso la vecchia passione.
Uso: Olympus OM-D E-M10 II dotata di Focus Breacking ( 999 int.1/10), obiettivo Olympus Zuiko ED 60 mm f/2,8 macro Soft: Photoshop CC e Helicon Focus.
Comunque che siano cristalli o paesaggi,animali o macro,ritratti,ecc. l'essenziale è cercare di trasmettere agli altri quelle emozioni che la natura ti offre.
