![]() | Leica CL Pros: Speed, dexterity, construction, DNG file quality, fabulous black and white Cons: Nothing Opinion: Purchased for 3 months, this small camera only has the shapes. The quality of DNG files that the Leica churn is exceptional and in the 24MP of CL you see it all. For those like me mainly shoot in bw this machine offers blacks, whites and greys that sorry to say, but do not exist in other machines. I also shoot with Fujifilm Xpro2 and already only from the optical viewfinder you will notice the difference in the graygradation of Leica and Fujifilm. The DNG are files that working them ask you 5 steps, with the bad RAF Fujifilm you have to do 20. One wonders too often why Leica has important prices, but the quality you pay and just try to argue that Fujifilm (the competition for street with the X100F or the Xpro2) holds up "to the big comparison" is quite ridiculous. I bought it with an Elmarit 18mm f 2.8, fast and high quality lens, the only flaw is the absence of a hood, but it is true that inserting one would be difficult to avoid a slight vignetting effect. This camera pulls out files comparable quietly to a non-Leica full frame machine. Advice for those who have big hands to buy a hand grip. sent on May 28, 2019 |
![]() | Fujifilm X-T10 Pros: viewfinder, jpeg file quality, swivel display, fast af, ring nuts, speed Af Cons: small for large hands, not tropicalized Opinion: I've been using the FujiFilm XT10 for almost a year. I bought only the body and apart from the Fuji 35mm f2. Fuji machines are famous especially for those who do street photography or reportage ... well this machine does not disappoint you at all. I recommend the purchase with a view to respect and not the 16-50 with which it is often sold. To date I would never change it for the XT20, it would not make sense: 16 megapixels are enough. The quality of jpeg is fabulous, if you want to work the Raw to turn them into TIFF then you fly. The machine is built well, the dials do not move alone, the menus are easily understood. For those who love to shoot in bnw, the options available (especially bnw with red filter) are crazy! rnOne two in: non-tropicalized and small machine for large hands. However, for the latter problem, just buy a hand grip or leather case (millions on amazon). sent on January 16, 2018 |
