Pros: versatility, sharpness, price

Cons: AF can be improved, tripod bracket not included

Opinion: Lens bought for just over 1000€ new, used with Sony A7RIII A, I needed an "all-rounder" lens for events such as regattas and sports where it happens to be close and far from the subject in a short time and it is not possible to change lenses. I have used it both in sports boats, cars and racers and it has always responded well, AF not very fast, but valid. During the day no problem that makes you regret the purchase, with low light it slows down a little, but you take the picture. Thanks to this lens I was able to take shots that otherwise I would have lost, in my gallery you can see a runner who rejoices at the finish made at 50mm, with a 150-600 or 70-200 I would have lost it. For those who don't need to do things "in a hurry" I would recommend something brighter, if you need practicality either this or the sigma 60-600 which however costs more than twice as much and weighs much more. Excellent sharpness, obviously it is not a Sigma Art or a GM but for the price I would say even too much. To consider the purchase of the tripod bracket separately, I no longer found the original one and I took a compatible one just to balance it freehand, on the tripod I use it little. VOTE 9
