![]() | Zeiss F-Distagon 16mm f/2.8 (C/Y) Pros: Handling, build quality and image. It's a Carl Zeiss. Cons: Not owning it Opinion: I own a Carl Zeiss F-distejon HFT 16mm f/2.8 fish-eye product for Rolleiflex. The F-Distejon is a "fish eye"-a lens with angular field close to 180 degrees, an excellent example of German optical engineering, solidly-constructed metal and well-dampened aperture focus rings. It is a bright lens and with good yield already at F 2.8, at F4 is perfect. To be a wide angle lens is also quite compact and lightweight, measuring 70 x 61 mm, weighing 460 g. The lens already focuses from 30 cm. Glad to have it included I don't think to ever remove it from the kit. Because the fish-eye lenses are not correct for distortion, the field of view is stunning, close to 180 degrees! You can not put a lens hood other than the built-in and minimal, so may suffer a little backlight has four integrated filters-UV, Or57, Y50 and B11. To change the filters, you must move the dedicated filter ring and rotate it to the desired filter. sent on July 06, 2018 |
